Beijing House — Restaurant in New York

terrible customer service. tried to place an order over the phone for pickup, was told it was cash only when i have paid via card here before. i asked if the machine was down and i was placed on hold until i got to the restaurant. my order was never placed and the phone service is outsourced from the restaurant. the counter person was rude and defensive when i asked why i was told cash only if the card machine was fine and that’s how i ended up paying anyway. i’m new to the area and thought i found a spot i could frequent but i will never go...

Ordered food through phone today about an hr ago and I repeated not once but 3-4 times the whole list of orders to the female tht picked up the phone . One sesame chicken order was with WHITE rice and the other with Fried rice. The other was Roast pork egg foo young with fried rice too and with this last one (roast pork one) she couldn't hear but called me back n that's when I made sure to repeat all my orders so I'd receive them correctly but guess it didn't matter.... Good thing I'm also not allergic to certain things or aren't as...

Cheap but food was not tasty. Garlic sauce didn't taste like garlic at all. French fries are too small for the price imo, I could get em two blocks away for half the price. And I suspect their grease keeps clogging the sewer as in two weeks, the sewer cleaning truck has been outside of the building Twice. Idk if it is for routine maintenance or what but I hope they and Halsey Ale House across the street are responsible disposing of their waste. :/ staff is okay tho.
