I don't ever post negative reviews but this one calls for it. I ordered a pie with three toppings to be delivered by Seamless. The pie arrives with none of the toppings, parcooked, and not even sliced/cut. I immediately call the driver and they instruct me to call the restaurant. I call the restaurant and they put me in contact with the owner, and offer me a refund for everything except the plain pie because that's what was delivered. I said I want the full refund (minus the tip for the driver) because this is not what I had ordered, it was parcooked, and not sliced/cut. The owner said yes to the full refund. After a half hour of waiting to the see refund go through, I called the owner to check on the status and they blamed Seamless saying they would only allow me to receive the full refund if they picked up the pie but because I had eaten some of it by then, they wouldn't allow the pickup. Considering this shop sells by the slice, I said pick up the pie and charge me for the slice I had eaten (which I ate after being told I was receiving the refund). The owner supposedly checked with Seamless if this was possible, and again blamed Seamless saying they wouldn't do the pick up and allow this. The owner said sorry and that I should perhaps take it up with Seamless. I do take it up with Seamless and Seamless blames it on the restaurant for not allowing the full refund. A. In restaurants when a guest's food comes out wrong, the enitirety of the food's price is deducted from the bill B. The owner didn't even have the decency to call me back and communciate they couldn't (just wouldn't) issue me the full refund after telling me they would C. When calling the driver, they should have called the restaurant to see what to do in this case as they could have just taken the pie that in that moment D. As someone that works in this industry, when the restaurant makes a mistake, you do whatever you can to make sure the paying customer feels satisfied Both the owner and the Seamless were making it appear the other was at fault for not allowing the full refund, but it seems it's just on the shop itself. Needless to say, I will never order from here again, and I would be wary to order from them...
Read moreI just moved to Brooklyn for work, and have been trying a bunch of the local food joints near where I live. This particular place is just down the road from me, so I stopped in on the way home from work once. Immediately I was impressed. It's a cute little place on a street corner, with a cozy interior, and incredibly friendly staff. The lady working the register greeted me immediately, and was a great conversationalist while I waited for the pizza to be ready, and because they were trying out a new style of pizza, offered me a free slice to try it out. I've gone back several times now, and would highly recommend the place to anybody who happens to be in the area. The pizza is really good, and there's a lot of good variety of choices that rotate occasionally (unlike most places that seem to have a set selection...
Read moreIn the many years of my life…and the many pizza places I’ve been to in NY… this has to be the most revolting pizza taste I’ve ever had. I was so hungry during work that I had to push down the slices so I could be full. I hate being rude and disrespectful because it’s not my way, but my god I will not order from here.
Main Problem: The pizza itself. Pizza wasn’t even cooked properly. How can a pizza not be cooked ??
I hope they will get better, that’s...
