After all the times I’ve been here and grabbed food I never thought I would be treated with such disrespect. I ordered 6 half falafels and 3 whole falafels with three pizzas and was charged 80 dollars. I drove 45 minutes back home and find out they forgot to put two whole falafels in the bag. So when I went to call them they tell them they messed up they tried blaming it on me say I only ordered 1 whole falafel and then I said when I confirmed my order in person he said it was all there. And when I tried telling him that if I only ordered 1 whole then why was I charged for 3. ( 6 half falafel $4 each 1 whole falafel $8 buy two pizza get 1 free $20 total so all together it comes to $54 plus tax and I paid 80 dollars cash) As I was trying to tell him why was I charged for the full amount he kept hanging up the phone and I would call back and they would hang up. After coming here so many time I’m pleased to say they have officially lost a loyal customer and for people that come to eat here please be careful as they might try...
Read moreMy recent visit to Famous Pizza at 79-09 Main St was really great; it was driven by my cravings for some of the best pizzas in the area, and true to its name, it was. Inside, the atmosphere welcomed me right away with sizzling pizzas and giggles that just made me feel at home. Friendly and welcoming staff took the time to recommend their specialties, which further whetted my appetite. What's not to love with the smell of fresh pizza baking in the air? When it arrived, my pizza was a work of art: a crunchy base, the cheese melted at the right time, and colorful toppings exuding taste. Great value for portions given the quality. Famous Pizza in Kew Gardens Hills gave me absolutely everything I could want in a pizza: the taste, the service, and the atmosphere. I recommend it very highly to anyone desiring to eat a good meal....
Read moreCame in the neighborhood with my dogs, the chef thought it would be nice to antagonize them and bark at them while they were quiet. After addressing with him how rude that was he felt the need to threaten myself (a woman) and my girlfriend (another woman). The chef continues to physically kick me in my leg (he is 3 times my size) when another guy comes from the side to defend him. (At no point did my hands or feet make contact with any of the men) But they felt it was appropriate to threaten us and attack us. DISGRACEFUL is what this place is. The men need to be changed for workers who are respectful to their environment and not cater to thugs so they can act out how they like. Will not go anywhere near the shop...
