Bismillah Kabab House — Restaurant in New York

I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK I walked in for some take out, I live in the neighborhood and wanted to try this place for a while. I walked to the back of the restaurant and there were 2 people who didn’t say anything to me, they just looked at me like “Why are you here?” – It was 6:45PM and there was no one else in the place. They weren’t very welcoming either. I asked the woman if she could help me; “What’s good to order here?” NO ANSWER just a strange stare. After this crazy, insensitive, uninformative conversation, I got the house rice with lamb. I asked her to please put extra lamb in the container, which she could have, but she filled it very sparingly (she was being cheap). I went home, put the food in bowls I have and ate. The house rice was very good, and the lamb was tasty, but it was very gelatinous, boney and had a lot of cartilage in it. Like the cheap pieces of meat you would get from the butcher. I wasn’t very happy with the salad either, it just looked off. They gave it to me in a piece of aluminum foil, which I though was pretty weird. I got some very strange dressing that tasted off also, so, to be safe, I threw the salad away. Needless to say, I will not be going back. I would have done better at a Halal Meat cart with a lamb and rice for 8-9 dollars. I hate to say it, because I hate giving bad reviews… But this...

I order biryani to go.. the guy put 4 5 chicken pieces in the plate. He warm it pack it and gave it to me. I sit in my car with kids and change my mind of eating at home and open the box right away and got surprise that the plate had only rice with no meat... I went back and confront the guy which he totally denied..his colleague pack another biryani plate.. I confront the guy that you had another spare biryani plate with no meat in it and while warming it he swap them.. but he kept denying... I went to my car and found the other plate is cold.. I went back to shop and saw the colleague found plate under counter and asking the culprit that why is this sitting here hidden.. Technical they try to get you they have the taste but..! they are...

I call to see if they were open today and the man didn’t seem to know what I was saying or knew English he said No and hung up on me my husband called back to ask again another brother answer the phone and said yes were open and still got hung up on but we still have them a chance so We went here for EID, took forever to order the man seemed very distracted and kept ignoring my husband, mostly bone on our beef and the table and chairs are disgustingly dirty! Sticky table and over by the bakery the glass was dirty for the display and some towels all over the floor with some sort of spilled mess on floor. Seems very out dated the decor is tacky and ugly and everything is dirty here...
