FiGo Pizza (Halal) — Restaurant in New York

FEEL GOOD, DELICIOUS PIZZA!!! It was that 105-degree Wednesday, I wasn’t going to cook, no way! I was craving some pizza and remembered seeing this little pizzeria near me, guess it’s time to give it a try! I see these two happy people standing near a hot pizza oven, in 105 heat – I would be dying! I asked for a pie to go, extra cheese nothing special. As I’m waiting, I talk to Ned, The Pizza Man” – “I don’t know what you have, what would you recommend? What’s your specialty?” Ned The Pizza Guy smiles, throws a slice with stuff on it in the oven, and says “Give it a minute”, nothing else. I see this chicken, cheesy, creamy looking slice and ask: “what is it?” – “Just try it” he says. I told him “I Hate Buffalo Chicken Pizza” He smiles and says again “Just try it” I side eye him and take a bite, being skeptical: WHOA… THIS WAS DELICIOUS!!! ~ You don’t notice you’re smiling when you’re chewing until some food almost falls out of your mouth! “Ned, just stands there with a “Yeah, I knew you’d like that” little smile on his face. The guy makes some seriously good pizza! The regular pie I took home was soo delicious – The sauce, the generous amount of cheese I asked for and the crust was PERFECT! I usually don’t eat crust, but, yes, it was so good, I ate that too! - I only had a slice left in the morning, so I ate that for breakfast, with a piece of cold chicken. They sold out of the “Big Mac Pizza” he was telling me about, must be good. I’ll go back soon and let you know how good it really is, lol!
