I stop by for coffee every morning, and I can’t praise this place enough for its incredibly friendly staff. Amy always remembers my name and my usual order, often preparing my coffee before I even reach the register. She truly makes my mornings special! She is so kind and friendly. Stephanie is another gem—her warm smile and friendly demeanor never fail to brighten my day.

This morning, there was a minor issue at the register that required a quick reset. During the wait, Amy transformed into Customer Service 2.0, engaging me with friendly conversation about my day and weekend plans, which made the brief wait so enjoyable. I genuinely appreciate how they go above and beyond to create a great experience. I have never experienced this in any other coffee shop in the city.

I’m more than willing to walk a couple of extra blocks just to grab my coffee here; it’s definitely worth it! Though I haven’t had extensive conversations with the other baristas, they always seem very kind and friendly.

The pastries look delicious, and I can’t wait to try once my calorie count allows it!

The atmosphere is good, with great music, cleanliness, and an overall inviting vibe. I really like their coffee too.

Blank Street 91st & Broadway has changed significantly.

This is clearly a issue of poor leadership, management, and execution. I have been going to this location for some time now, and recently was treated as if they have never seen me in their life. I asked the associate to simply separate my milk in a different cup than the cup she put my coffee in, and she wanted to charge me $1 for just a tiny cup.

Mind you, I never asked for extra, I just asked for it to be separated, something that other locations have don with no problem. Then when asked why the lady, right before me was given the same ask for free, she said "well she is a regular and you don't come here as often."

When did visibility become part of the pricing structure for any reason. Is it because she came often or other reasons? I am sending in a formal complaint to see if they can observe the interaction that day and let me know if there were other factors that were in play.

Moving on, I would love for a executive to explain to my why asking for your coffee and milk to be separate warrant's a additional charge, attitude, and 4 team members disrespecting one client.
