Their return policy is "no returns" on certain things. They'll tell you that that's printed clearly on the receipt—which it is, yes. BUT YOU DON'T GET A RECEIPT UNTIL AFTER YOU BUY.

And then, and I quote the guy at the register, "I don't care if it's one minute after you bought it, no returns."

It's a bait and switch, plain and simple. You absolutely should ask about EVERYTHING you buy there, to make sure you understand the return policy. When there are so many hardware stores in this city, this sort of customer approach is insane.

The store inventory is good. Some of the sales folks are welcoming and accommodating, some of them are just not. Speaking to that kind of person makes me think that they don't care about me as a customer.

The manager, Brandon, was the redeeming light that made me feel better about everything. He is great in dealing with people in a friendly and respectful way. Grateful for his presence there. But honestly, other sales reps (I will not name anyone here) need to step up their game.
