This is one of my favorite places in New York City. It's awesome the style of this statue. I can feel almost her presence there. Joan of Arc have a beautiful and sad history in same time, like all martyrs. This Park is a little piece of Joan in New York even beyond...it's Le France in New York because watching Joan of Arc full dressed as a brave warrior riding a horse inspire you to fight for your goals in life. They are reconstructing the stairs which I'm happy about. They were very old and tearing apart. It has been closed for a while can't wait for them to open it up again. Nice shade , peaceful and you can sit there without any problems. Sometimes the dogs can be a bit too much (for people allergic to them) a lot of dog walkers eat...

This is a small park within the larger Riverside Park. I find it to be a pleasant stopping point on my daily walk before turning around and heading back home. There are a number of Pokestops for Pokemon Go players. Now that it's Autumn it's even more pleasant to...
