Ordered a grill chicken sandwich and they slapped their chopped grill chicken that they use in their rice over the sandwich. The grill chicken was greasy and had rice over chicken seasoning.

The only reason I ordered a grill chicken sandwich was because it is not supposed seasoning and its nots supposed to be greasy.

They also had chopped lettuce on the the sandwich, the same chopped lettuce they use in chicken over rice platters.

Also ordered falafel balls and they were out if them and sent me something I am not even sure what they were. They went into the garbage.

I will not be ordering from this establishment again.

Replying to Owner's comment:

What I got was in fact chopped up chicken in my sandwich that is used in your rice over chicken. So please stop the lies and trying to cover your establishment. Plus I ordered Falafel balls and was told over the phone that you didn't have any and that you'll send boiled cord or something to that affect but all I got were balls of something. Plus the fries that came with the sandwich were broken little pieces and they were stale like they had been made earlier in the day. Nothing about the order was fresh.

The lettuce was chopped up little pieces that you use in your chicken over rice.

I highly suggest that you and your employees go back learn how to prepare every item in the menu. You can't be using chopped up chicken bits that you use in chicken over rice...

I ordered a chicken over rice (no salad) and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience. When I walked in, one of the workers jumped up from eating at a table to prepare my food — without washing his hands or putting on gloves. Another staff member working both the kitchen and the register was handling food and cash with the same glove, even using the same glove to scoop fries, which is a serious hygiene concern.

The salad bar was also left uncovered and had a noticeable amount of bugs hovering around it, likely due to the overhead light and the front door being left open. I understand it gets hot in the kitchen, but if you’re going to offer a salad bar, it should be properly enclosed to keep the food fresh and safe.

To top things off, the listed price for the chicken over rice was $8.99, but I was initially told it was $12. After questioning it, I was charged $9.79 — and then the cashier tried to keep the full $10 I handed over, saying there was a “cash tax” set by the boss. I had to specifically ask for my $0.21 in change, which felt sketchy and unprofessional.

Overall, between the hygiene concerns, pricing confusion, and general lack of professionalism, I wouldn’t recommend this place. I also noticed there was no posted health rating on the window, which made me uneasy enough to double...

All the reviewers that are saying that the staff is polite obviously know the owners and are specifically commenting on their mannerism because they truly know how horrible the staff actually is. I just got cursed out by their delivery guy because I asked him whether he was coming into the building to deliver the food, thats what they did last time. He said no and grew irate I even had the audacity to ask. I asked is he was in front of the building to which he also replied "no". I asked again because at this point I'm confused and asked him to clarify where exactly he was and where he wanted me to meet him and he flippppedddd out and hung up. I called the restaurant explaining the situation and "click" they hung up on me. Called back again. Same thing. I called grub hub and explained the situation. Got my money back. Will not be ordering from here again....

This place is fantastic. So glad that they have opened up in Brooklyn. For those of you that may not be aware, this is a chain of one of the best fast food places in queens (Halal Boyz on Horace Harding Expy). Tried it out for the first time and it was the exact same taste, I’m glad that the taste hasn’t changed. I’ve been a customer at halal boys for years, traveling for the great food way too often. Fortunately my travel will decrease significantly. I highly recommend their Philly cheesesteak, the chicken tikka and the chicken over rice. Too good. We needed this level of halal goodness in our Brooklyn area. Definitely will be back regularly. Additionally, the staff is fantastic. Ahmed is a great host!

The chicken over rice is best described as tasteless. The cleanliness of the place is the biggest concern bugs and flies flying everywhere. On the salad bar on the ceiling you name it. When looking to order the staff steered us on what to order stating it would “take too long to prepare you, don’t want something else?”. Mind you we walked in an hour and change before closing. They ran out of BBQ sauce on our plate looked as us and we asked if we they had more. They told us “that is good enough you are fine”. The prices also don’t match the poor service and food quality. This is 1,000% never visit never try again I urge you to head this review and the others

Fantastic place, very friendly service. We were not very hungry and just got the samosa chana chat ($6) which was warm crushed samosas covered with cold potato’s, chick peas and covered with yogurt, mont chutney and tamarind sauce. It was amazing. We also got the Falooda which is a desert with basil seeds, rice noodles, rose syrup, some Kind of sweet cream and cubes of deep frozen ice cream that tasted like condensed milk. Can’t wait to Come back here!
