DO NOT SHOP HERE. My grandmother used to shop at meat supreme. After they closed she began to go to this new supermarket almost on a daily basis. The store has a policy that senior citizens receive a 10% discount. She needed groceries and it was late so my mother and I accompanied her to the store. I waited for them outside and over heard the owner talking badly about my grandmother and making fun of her. They said “the old lady that always asks for the discount is here, when she gets here and asks for the discount tell her Im not here”. The cashiers even followed the owner around to the aisle in the store where my grandmother was and they pointed her out and were laughing at her. Then the manager went and hid. I saw and heard this all. You should not offer a discount if you will not honor it. And you should not be nasty. My grandmother doesn’t need your discount but there are people who do I wonder how many other good customers you treat like this. You should all be ashamed of...

This store has become absolutely terrible in terms of product selection — barely anything left on the shelves. But what’s worse is how unsafe it is now. There are constant leaks from the ceiling, and today I saw exposed wires with water dripping nearby. I’ve attached photos. How is it even legal or safe to keep a store open in this condition?

Exposed wires next to water leaks are not only hazardous to customers and employees, but also potentially illegal under NYC building and health codes. I used to go to this supermarket at least 2x week, just to support my local store. I had an issue today and it had to do with money when I asked the cashier to explain didn't make much sense to me i asked for the transaction to be done again and she was rushing me out of the line telling me in a rude away that there was people behind me. In short words they made a mistake and weren't willing to fixed it; the manager was also rude and getting annoyed by me fighting for my money I was paying with a EBT card and had other things that are not aproof by ebt and he tried to act like he was doing me a favor by letting me pay with My food stamps money.ILLEGAL....I was very happy and very supportive of this supermarket the problem with it is that it's runs by a bunch of kids that don't realize a business is based on...
