A very cozy café with comforting food. It might not exactly be a “high-class restaurant”, but rather a place to relax & chat with the loved ones, and it’s the very charm of this place. Food is incredible, these were one of the best kebabs I’ve tried in my lifetime. Lula kebab was unbelievably juicy and tasty, as well as the rest of the dishes we had. I highly recommend ordering a carafe of their homemade stewed fruit— compote, it is quite pricey but worth it. I do think that the salads are a little overpriced, but it’s not a deal breaker nor a serious flaw, rather just something to be aware of. I must admit the waiter was polite yet inattentive, did not look at the dining area unless specifically called, which I was a bit shy to do so I had to wait for a little while before he noticed me. I would appreciate them paying more attention to the guests, but other than that it was a great experience, especially for such a reasonable price. Overall, great! Recently, I decided to revisit those fond memories by visiting Toshkent restaurant and invited my friends to join me for an authentic Uzbek dining experience. However, to my disappointment, we were met with incredibly poor treatment from the staff, which tainted our entire evening. It's disheartening to think that these individuals, who were supposed to represent the warm hospitality of Uzbekistan, seemed to have forgotten its essence. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the staff lacked the welcoming spirit that I had come to associate with the country.
