Apna pind — Restaurant in New York

I’ve seen some of the one star reviews and completely disagree. Feels like they’re being attacked by other competitors in the area. I’ve literally been here 4 times for dine-in & ordered for take out 3 times - since they have been opened.

Staff: they’re super friendly & explain foods if needed.

Food: Tasty! There is flavor! If you want spicy - they’ll make it spicy! Trust me. I’ve had their butter chicken, chicken Tikka, sag paneer, and literally all of the naan varieties they have to offer. They make a great mixed Biryani. Chai is good here too.

Price: I’d say average for the neighborhood.

Decor: is nice. The front counter is a truck front end. I think it’s still a work in progress for the rest of the place.

Great Indian / Punjabi restaurant now...

Excellent, unassuming and wonderful local spot. Definitely a go-to place for Indian food when you are in in the mood. Large variety of excellent options to choose from. Menu is priced just right. Not only was it quality food but the quantity is ample. Our party of four ordered a manchurian mix, tandoori mix grill, chicken tikka masala and they even custom made us mushroom makhni as per my wife’s request which was more than we can consume. Staff was accommodating and nice. Meat was high quality and well cooked. Our food came out fresh including the piping hot garlic naan drizzled in butter. I have been to several Indian restaurants in NY and this is definitely a top choice. I can’t wait to go back, and am confident other patrons...

I gave one star, becz there is no option to gave zero star. Before Diwali night i called to placed our order, Indian guy who picked our call, he has zero sense of customer skills and even he was talking to my man very rudely. We tried to order something after checking Menu from Website and he told us Kadhi Pakora we don't have it . We said ok let us know what you have it he was just gave us one answer to check website whatever we tried to ordered, we checked the website before calling and very politely, we told him again to let us know what he had ready that day for food but his answer was same . we thought that may be he don't want us to placed our order here. Never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone worst...
