I look forward to my walk from GC to my office, because on my way, I visit Bluestone Lane (400 Madison Ave.) for a coffee drink. I get a flat white: espresso in the 12oz cup with whole milk filled halfway maybe third way. The resulting drink is smooth, buttery, round, non-acidic, perfectly yellowish golden dense foam, which, just at a glance I know it is good.
Then to compliment the coffee and close the experience in as good a note as the drink, is the team. This amazing and welcoming small group of people are warm, welcoming and efficient. They create a vibrant wholistic experience, even at their busiest they draw you in. It's a pleasure to start mornings from such a good vibe.
I love this location because I am here often. I have also visited other BL locations and have found consistency with coffee and service.
Of course, there are neighboring coffee houses I can choose from, given that prices for a similar drink are at par, however, the coffee and service at these neighboring places are moody.
Hope you will receive and perceive the same service and experience I do when you visit Bluestone Lane at 400 Madison Avenue: a mini vacation each time.
(p.s. management should consider re-opening a spot in CT. I think there's room for Bluestone Lane brand and format, this time in places like New...
Read moreSo I was feening to have some Bluestone Coffee and the salted chocolate cookies because I went to a brand new coffee that opened in NJ. I live in new york so the one that was still open at the time was the one on 400 Madison; which closes at 6. When my mom and I walk to the shop, let me tell you that door was so difficult to open, the floor disgusting dirty and black and every else run down not clean. However, I proceed to the register because I wanted my iced chai latte with extra shot and my cookie. So supposedly they ran out but the girl at the register said that the cookies they had was reserved earlier for some of her staff. And im like okayyyyyy I though things supposed to be sold to the customers and not staff. Anyways she did not add my extra shot and try to be nice saying if I live close by I can get fresh cookies tomorrow. Im like miss I love in the Bronx how ima get the cookies ? Anyways this Bluestone location I do not recommend and they dirty.
Bluestone manager for this location need to reach out to me because this is not acceptable. The dirtiest place I ever seen.
It was a different experience in the NJ location...
Read moreI would love to give them 0 star. The worst coffee shop ever. I went to there with my co workers today. I ordered large matcha and they gave me small one. So I told them that I ordered large one. The server attitude changed and start slammed the cups etc. My co worker ordered small milo but she got larger one. My co workers and I were so confused. Finally, the server made my âlargeâ matcha. She transfer my matcha that was in the previous small cup and added cold milk in it. My matcha was cold and the servers were so rude. I told her that my matcha is cold. And they said that âyou said 12oz specifically.â Which I NEVER said that. If I specifically said 12oz, why am I charged for large matcha? So I told her that âIt was your mistake and you never said sorry and I had really bad experience here and my matcha was cold.â The manager came and said that âyep and you got large matcha.â The way servers reacted makes me and my coworkers very unsafe. I never want to go...
