Nestled in a charming part of midtown, Osteria Delbianco offers a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. As soon as you step inside, the rustic charm of the décor—wooden tables, exposed brick, and cozy lighting—sets the tone for a memorable dining experience.
The menu is a delightful exploration of classic Italian cuisine, with each dish made from the finest, locally sourced ingredients. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything is prepared with care and attention to detail. I started with the bruschetta, which was perfectly toasted and topped with fresh tomatoes, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze—simple but full of flavor.
For the main course, I opted for the tagliatelle al ragù, a rich, savory dish that transported me straight to the heart of Italy. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the ragù was hearty and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices and tender meat. It’s the kind of dish that makes you feel like you’re enjoying a meal at a family-owned trattoria in Italy.
The wine list is impressive, offering a selection of fine Italian wines that pair perfectly with the dishes. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to recommend the perfect bottle to suit your meal, enhancing the overall dining experience.
What truly sets Osteria Delbianco apart is the warm and attentive service. The staff are friendly, professional, and make you feel like part of the family. Whether you’re here for a casual dinner or a special celebration, you’re guaranteed to leave with a smile.
Final Verdict: Osteria Delbianco is a true gem for those seeking authentic Italian flavors, a welcoming ambiance, and a memorable dining experience. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, it’s definitely...
Read moreWas in NYC for work so just a quick day trip. Opened google to look for the nearest Italian restaurant that had good to decent reviews. Wasn’t expecting much as it was a last minute decision to go eat. At first we didn’t think we would get in because we didn’t have reservations and was wearing t shirts. We was not dressed up as I mentioned it was a spare of a moment decision. But luckily we was able to get a table with no problem. Our waiter was very very nice, polite, friendly and professional. I didn’t catch his name unfortunately. He recommended the lasagna to us and I am so happy I went with that. It was so good, by far the best I have ever had in my life. When I went to the restroom I was glancing at other people’s plates and everything looked so good. This place don’t have a lot of reviews but trust me you won’t be disappointed. The type of establishment this place is, definitely worth dressing up for to dine it. It is a fine dinning white table cloth establishment. We almost left because we definitely didn’t look like we fit in with our t shirts but I’m very thankful they allowed us in. The food, service and atmosphere is definitely 10 stars.
** Edit: Also everyone at the table raved about their dishes...
Read moreI was around midtown for some field business with my mom on a Friday afternoon and was looking for a decent Italian for lunch. this place popped up with 4.7 stars and I had high expectations. Food was good, place was convenient but the service definitely needed improvement. NOT one waiter had smile on his face when we entered. The restaurant was not crowded at all.
The first waiter took us to an isle side table (obviously all traffic area) . when I asked if I could have a booth seat, he then took us to the front booth seat right next to the serving table tray because the booth seat I asked was for 4 persons.(again, the place was not crowded at all) . Then I think it was not ideal and went back to the table next to the original one. While we were trying to settle down, another waiter was 'ordering' me to put my coat to another chair while the original once would be crowded when someone next table dines. Then whey did they put the chair at the location? What if someone had to sit that side? The point was that the entire sitting experience was unwelcome, cold and uncomfortable. I would have given 5 starts if servers were better trained...
