Branch Patty — Restaurant in New York

I was trying to find good vegetarian patties for my partner and I, so I joined the Branch Patty mailing list to make sure I knew when they were restocked. The moment I found out they had new flavors in I went all in - 1x Coco-Bread, 3x Sweet Potato & Lentil, 3x Seasonal Greens, 6x Beyond Beef with Cheese, and 2x Curry Squash.

I ordered for pick up and they asked if I wanted them baked or frozen and what time I would come get them on Friday. Walked up to their spot in LIC (shared space with Kora - a Filipino donut shop). It felt like I was part of a cool club with people swinging by to grab their pre ordered patty and donut bundles.

My partner already had dinner going when I got home, but we split a Beyond beef & cheese for a little appetizer - WOW! So flavorful and the crust was out of this world. Can't wait to...

These patties are the TRUTH and I’ll be ordering more in the near future. The colors are gorgeous in person. The texture of the dough is unlike any other I’ve had. You can really taste the integrity of the ingredient. I surprisingly enjoyed the vegan patties more (I’m not vegan and usually very loyal to beef)- with the curry squash and chickpea being my favorite. Everything was fantastic- even your delivery person was very kind and had such a positive energy to him....

What can I say, these are how Jamaican patties are supposed to taste. We’ve been buying our patties from Sam and Lisa for over 4 years and they only keep getting better! Flaky crust on the outside, while the filling is not only filled fully, but also delicious.
