We will never be using this bakery again. Look at the photos of what we ordered and what we received. Then watch the video of my interaction with one of the owner’s Sonia. Horrible, dismissive attitude and even more horrible looking cake. To begin a conversation with a customer by blaming them would show that your claim at having 40 years in this business is complete joke. Your customer service is as amateur as the cake you gave us. Both the owner Sonia and the employee Arianne who took my order and deposit should truly be ashamed of the way you both handled this. If it wasn’t for the fact that my nieces birthday was 2 hours from the time we arrived for the cake, I NEVER would have walked out with it. I had stopped going to this bakery for years, not welcoming and old stale goods. I had to pick up a few cheese cake cups( emergency) I would have been better off going to Ideals. The pastries are horrible it tasted like chemicals $18.00 worth of 3 nasty patries went straight to compost. How can these people still be in business, aside from the fact that the spanish music playing was annoying. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, EVERYTHING THEY SELL IS OLD AND STALE. Russo's has managed to remain one the highest quality and most dependable Italian bakeries in my memory of living in Glendale (where I was born). Their pastries, breads, cakes and gelato are second to none. In the same style they have always worked, the front of house is run by young girls, which is probably the only drawback as there is no voice of experience or qualified opinion to be found from the other side of the counter.
