Red Crab Juicy Seafood — Restaurant in New York

This is a really nice atmosphere However that's where it ends for me. It is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing in there however the customer service is extremely slow. I walked in there with my family which was about five people. From the time we sat down no one really greeted us. Next after we were greeted and seated at approximately 9:00 p.m. we ordered our food at 9:15. Our food did not arrive until 10:00. This is unacceptable service for an establishment of this size. They do not seem to have the capabilities in the kitchen and back end to properly serve people in an expedited amount of time. This is also a new business so maybe they're still within the learning curve that's why I did not rate them lower than three stars and I will revisit to see if they have improved. That was my first time ever being there since that day I have gone back today June 23rd. I decided to give it another chance since the owner posted to my original comment. However I did that and it's more of the same exact activity. It's a hostess who asked you if you'd like to be seated that seats you. I had a table for three people. She found a little seat 5 minutes past 10 minutes past get almost up to 15 minutes I start looking around the place looking for a waitress or waiter. No one comes. I get up I'm there with my mom it's her birthday one of my aunts are with us. They get up when I get up and I tell them they should leave and go to BBQ's cuz we've been waiting here long enough already and we don't even have water we have not seen a waiter or waitress. I let them know that I will stay back to speak to whatever that person maybe and see what if anything can be done. I spoke to a young lady at the host of station who stated she can get the owner for me. A woman comes out and starts tone policing me. by telling me things like she's not here for that she doesn't want my voice carrying and her establishment things of that nature and I even turned to her because I'm so pleasant I said miss I'm speaking to you in my normal speaking voice not yelling. Also at that point I said to her I've already been out here I've already written a review saying how poor the customer service was and it looks like it's just more of the same. She turns to me and says it looks like I'm trying to disrupt her business at this point I am so frustrated I just turn walk away from her and walk right off that place. This is New York there are a million people doing the exact same business you were doing it does not matter what kind of business it is. There's no such thing as in each business anymore where you've just invented this thing no one has ever seen it and you're going to be the first and only one doing it That's not how the Big Apple works. I will never return in there none of my family will never return in there because I came back there it was my mother's birthday I had a relief of just being able to get some customer service something good to eat that you will see it as well. I don't spend money where my business is not wanting. Clearly my business is not wanted here and there are many many other reputable options all around Canarsie and the surrounding areas where I can walk i be seated at a reasonable time have refreshments . my table and a reasonable time . I gave it a second chance and now I see that second time was my last time. I should have filed my gut but I didn't however this time I...

Saturday night and looking for a little crab? Well this live DJ brought the vibes to this mediocre establishment. I'm in NY for the holidays decided to give this spot a try. Walked in with 10 points to give away....the place had vibes.!!! I was quickly seated.

I will start with the Hennessy Pina Colada. It was delicious but the restaurant ran out of Pina Colada (its 9pm) so they provided my drink in a smaller plastic cup but assured me the same amount of Hennessy was applied to the drink and I was still charged the full price..ok.

On to the appetizers...I ordered the fried calamari. It was placed on the table and my server didn't stick around long enough to make a comment. 15 minutes later I'm still asking for a dipping sauce. By the time it arrives my calamari is cold. (Points lost).

On to my main course... My server takes my order and I request the juicy special with 🔥 sauce. Time to order my 2nd adult beverage....the Bahama Mama is recommended..once again I had to wait 20 mins and again no glass but another smaller plastic cup. My date ordered a rum and coke and the bartender forgot to put the drink in the plastic cup because it looked like a shot. My date had to walk over to the bar to ger this corrected because once again our server disappeared without asking or telling us anything. Yet glasses filled with beverages are passing us by. My weekend special was brought out. It was hot to the touch but the taste was not the Juciy special Hot. (More points lost) I asked the server if he provided me with the right order because this was not it. My taste buds were not satisfied. There was no taste of pepper, no taste of cajun, no taste of caynne pepper...all I was tasting was garlic butter. I wrapped it up to go. (More points lost)

Enjoyed the vibes from my seat, while I sip on my mama (which was just okay).

I've had some delicious juicy crab in Houston TX but his restaurant missed the mark on my order and service. If it wasn't for the dj, this would not have been an enjoyable evening (sad, but my only reason...

3/31/2023 My sister wanted to go back here so i went to try it out it is a good atmosphere but then again its not. One thing that annoyed me is as much as i love music the music in there was WAY TOO DAMN LOUD it was so loud i had to write down my order because there was no way the waitress was going to hear me im not a loud talker. I feel very bad for the people that work there that are in that loud noise for 8hrs or more its ridiculous and im sure there hear is in jeopardy you cant hear nothing but the music and dj there is no way you are hold a conversation unless your yelling the whole time.. Now for the food we arent seafood boil kind of people which it seems like most people go there for but we ordered a bunch of different appetizers and just went from there. even with writing the orders down the waitress still messed up our order and 2 of had our food while my mother was sitting there the whole time with no food and had to eat off our food and ended up bringing hers home because that's how long it took for the food to come back out. Now i had the calamari was was very salty and imitation i wasn't pleased with it, also the hush puppies didn't taste like anything the scallops were small and the breading didn't stick to it and they had no flavor there was no seasoning in the flour or batter the shrimps was alright what i really liked without a doubt was there wings they were a good size and flavorful i think if i ever go back i will just order the wings. For me it wasn't the best place to go for seafood i guess they put that back there for the people in the neighborhood.. They should really do something about the level of the music its just too loud for a place thats supposed to but a dine in place and not a club even though the music isnt bad its way to loud i left out of there with a headache so imagine how the employees must feel when they leave out of there after being there for x amount of hours....
