Butter Buttercream — Restaurant in New York

It’s really disheartening when you want to support a local business and end up being disappointed.

A cake was ordered for my birthday a little less than two weeks ago and paid for in full, as requested due to the short notice. If this was something the bakery couldn’t accommodate my partner would have gladly took their business elsewhere. The bakery was set to open at 12 noon on Wednesday, and to my surprise, when they arrived, there was no cake ready. The order had simply been forgotten which is quite disappointing, especially given that it was fully paid for.

While I appreciate that the owner refunded my partner and included cupcakes to make up for the mistake, the fact still remains that my entire birthday cake was forgotten. Because of this, my birthday photo shoot and photographer plans were disrupted, as the cake was a key part of the celebration.

Please take this situation as an opportunity to be more attentive in the future. It may have just been a cake to you, but it was my birthday, and a day that held great importance to me. Although the refund was appreciated, the inconvenience and disappointment caused by the oversight were not so...

I can’t say enough good things about Butter Buttercream! From the moment I walked in, the bakery had such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is soooo sweet! The cupcakes and cakes are absolutely stunning and taste even better than they look, and they already look sooo amazing! They are moist, flavorful, and perfectly sweet and just enough. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their craft.Their cakes are beautiful, and they will make your vision come to life! I made the mistake of going there after seeing an Instagram reel. I walked in and was greeted by two lovely ladies. The soace smelked like your grandmother"s home when she's baking. I bought a red velvet slice, a confetti slice and a lemon drop cupcake. I wish I could tell you that it wasn't a good experience but I would be lying. The cakes were so moist!
