Extremely disappointed with this restaurant! Placed an order for dinner delivery, they took my address and payment, I waited an hour for the food only for them to say we have your food but we dont deliver to your address! Via GPS we are only 20 mins from the restaurant. I called and the manager was very rude and unprofessional said we had to tell him our address was in NJ. I told him that when we called and gave the address it was his responsibility to let us know whether they can deliver to us or not, especially since they were so quick to take payment. We offered to pay the toll, as we waited over an hour for our dinner and he refused to send it. So I guess they rather the food go to waste. It's ridiculous honestly. Upon speaking with the manager and informing him of how disappointed I was with their service and unwillingness to resolve this situation, he continued to argue and be combative, stating he was canceling the order, he refused to deliver to our address, saying it was our fault. Honestly, if you run a business with a delivery service you know the radius of where you deliver- but to take the order, charge the card, and prepare the food/ send it out only to say you refuse to complete the transaction it is absolutely ludacris! I have never heard of such a thing. I will not ever recommend this place, in fact I recommend you stay far away. This is not good service, or a respectable business. Steer clear...
Read moreI had a fantastic time at Cafe Bellavita in Staten Island, where we celebrated my sister-in-law's surprise birthday party. The food was perfect, the staff was amazing, and the ambiance was lovely.
We ordered a variety of dishes, from pasta and salads to chicken and fish, and everything was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, the flavors were authentic and well-balanced, and the presentation was appealing and appetizing. The portions were also generous and filling. We also enjoyed some wine from their extensive selection, and they even offered some kids meals for the little ones.
The staff was incredible, from the hostess who greeted us warmly, to the servers who took care of us attentively, to the chef who came out to wish my sister-in-law a happy birthday. They were all friendly, professional, and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed, and they even brought out a cake with candles and sang along with us.
The ambiance was cozy and elegant, with a nice decor and a relaxing music. The restaurant was spacious and clean, and the lighting was soft and romantic. They gave us a nice private room where we could enjoy our meal without any disturbance.
Cafe Bellavita is a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal with your loved ones. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality Italian restaurant in Staten Island. I will definitely...
Read moreWent to bella vita this Saturday to celebrate my moms 60th Birthday food was good but I felt very rushed, upon arrival they sat us all ( party of 12) at a table that had water coming from the ceiling so that took 20 minutes for them to change our table ( no big deal). The problem was the waiter who refused to give his name rushed everything the orders to the point he didn't know who got what dish, he'd rudely ask if we were done, upon ordering there was no figuring out what you wanted hev was quick to take the order and when the birthday cake came out we couldn't even take pictures of our mothers birthday cake, he was so quick to take it the back and cut it up to get us out to get new people in . I understand it's a busy night Saturday and you want to make as much money as you can but you don't treat customers like that who have been there many times and let me note that the women whose the owner WAS NOT their because she's very nice I would of went right up to her to address this issue. Our family couldn't wait to go to bella vita and this wasn't the experience we expected the one waiter made it a very Very...
