Carlo's Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I went to Carlo's Pizza for the first time and had a awesome experience. I ordered a cheese pizza and a spinach calzone. They normally don't offer spinach calzone but they made it special on a busy Saturday night. The cook with the glasses [sorry I didn't get his name], extremely customer focused, stop.to tell me he made it special. It was one of the best I ever had, and the pie was perfect.

Went back tonight, the spinach calzone was again excellent, but was happily surprised by the great tasting soup. Wife a little under the weather, so we ordered chix noodles. ... never thought a pizza place could make such a hearty soup.

First review ever but these guys deserve it. We've ordered from Carlos at least once a week for years. We've ordered pies, rolls, heros, entrees, desserts, etc. and have never been disappointed. Some of our favorites are the calamari, wings, heros, and any pie is great, but the stuffed pie, buffalo chicken pie and chicken bacon ranch pie are amazing. The food comes hot and quickly. Their service is the best as they treat you like family. You may be able to get a decent slice elsewhere, but they're not consistent and you get served a lot of attitude with your slice. I love the pizza here. The dough is always fresh. The crust is done in a matter that it tastes delicious. The cheese is always well melted onto the pizza. It is oozing out of the crust. Delicious. There is a good variety of toppings. I have had the meatball and onion with the delicious cheese and red sauce on the pizza. That is one of my favorites. The red sauce is very flavorful. Not too much garlic, nor is it too sweet. It never causes me heartburn. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. I would definitely stop in, next time I am in...
