The problem is there are not enough employees. They are struggling to keep up with the opening. Its ashame on the owners part to put such a small amount of employees on the line with no support. I was on the line and the poor employees were struggling to cook the food, serve and check out all at the same time. There was no way I could complain when they were clearly working hard to get everything served. The chicken ended up getting burnt. There was no guac available. No vinaigrette dressing available. No forks available. I mean managers, owners, support and provide for your staff to be successful. This is not the employee's fault the opening failed. I visited the store 3 times last week to see if I saw the same thing before I posted. There were no managers available. The portions they served were terrible. I am sure the employees are being told how much to serve. I understand it was a mess but the volume of customers they received was very high and with such low amount of staff, can you blame them?...
Read moreSHAME ON YOU!!! You're a brand new establishment in Bay Terrace, Bayside, NY. You've been open a month and cannot believe how horrible the experience was. Earlier today, January 31, 2025, around 3:30 in the afternoon. A FRIDAY AFTERNOON. They had NO CHIPS. They had NO RICE and were met with a blank stare for 15 seconds before this kid says, so do you want rice, if so you have to wait till it's done, do you wanna wait? Umm Yeah, Einstein we'll wait, we want the rice. They had a measly amount of steak and other proteins left and no one was making anything. Note to the one covered in tattoos... You really should contact Human Resources and let them know that you need a refresher course on how to deal with paying customers/the general public. Such a shame, the whole neighborhood was looking forward to this place and after todays experience and the amount of the 1 star reviews i am now reading, you can be sure we will not be back and we'll stick with the one in...
Read moreI visited Chipotle Bay Terrace sunday afternoon with my wife, and we had a very disappointing experience — both in the kitchen and dining area.
While ordering, I noticed that the staff was cooking chicken on a grill that hadn’t been cleaned properly. There were thick layers of burnt food stuck on the surface, and they kept cooking on it without scraping or washing it. As a result, our food had black, burnt bits mixed in. It was not only unappetizing but also raised serious concerns about food safety.
To make matters worse, the dining area was also unclean. Most of the tables were dirty and hadn’t been wiped down. We had to ask the staff to clean a table, and it took quite a while before someone came over to take care of it.
It’s disappointing to see this level of neglect in both kitchen hygiene and customer service at a major chain like Chipotle. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves both staff training and overall...
