Coco Rosa Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

I feel bad writing this, but this experience was nowhere near my expectations and I will explain why. I ordered their more popular item from Grubhub; their roast pork sandwich and a side of fries. One important note that some viewers would already know, is that I do not eat sandwiches without cheese; it does not happen. I put a note in asking to please add cheese, and I clarified whatever they have world work, but cheese on my sandwich is a MUST. They did not put cheese on, and my pork was a bit dry. Now when I was picking the food up, it took a while for me to even confirm the order because the staff did not speak english. My guess is that they did not bother to read the note, or if so they did not understand and didn’t bother to translate. That is just carelessness on their part, but at the same time they really should have staff that speak english. Not sure if it matters to them, but my dinner was ruined due to their lack of attention to detail because if a sandwich does not have cheese, I do not want it. The fries were pretty bad as well, soft and mushy opposed to krispy and on top of all that, the food cost me around 18 bucks. If you are going to charge the price of a pizza pie, I want to be full in the end, and I want every component asked for on my sandwich. If that is too much to ask, I will go to one of 1000 other spots to get a sandwich in this area. The journey continues, and this reviewer is not happy. We (a group) decided to go eat at this place. Two ladies approached us and took our order. One of them Was not very friendly. One of our guests asked for a natural juice. When she brought it; he found it to be very sweet and told her that it was too sweet. She told him “well, you tasted it already! I will have to charge you for it or request the manager not to charge for it and he might not approve it. 😵can you believe this????? We called another lady to ask why and she said not to worry that everything was ok and helped us with that. Then, as the food was arriving to our table, two of the same dish came to the table 😱one of the waiters with a mad attitude towards us said “why are we bringing double the food, you guys are asking for more than what you need.” Are you kidding me???? Me and my boyfriend were seated at a dirty table, noone came to clean the table nor take our orders until we started cleaning the table ourselves .. When the waitress did come to our table she was rushed, impatient, obnoxious and didn't quite understand English too well so that made it much harder to order our food.... overall the food was "ok", our chicken was dried out and had no flavor, we asked for rice and beans and only received rice which also was flavorless, and the silverware wasn't too clean... I was very disappointed because I had finally went into the restaurant a week after i moved into the neighborhood and was looking forward to a good hearty spanish meal...
