Amazing burritos, can't speak on the other food items.

Why 2 stars?

The cashier had me waiting for 30 minutes without telling me they didn't put my order through because I walked out after placing my order to check on my car. He didn't say here's your total, how would you like to pay or anything. Some places take payment before the food is made, other places as you pick up your prepared food. How am I supposed to know this establishment's payment ettiquette without him communicating to me about payment whatsoever?

This is a reasonable misunderstanding if i was outside of the restaurant the whole 30 minutes, but I walked back into the restaurant 10 minutes after placing my order and waited for 20 minutes inside the restaurant. He could've come up to me or called me over to ask about the order and payment, but he didn't. If I didn't go up to him at that point who knows how long I would've been waiting for food that was never coming. Unacceptable.

I live in the area and decided to checkout a local spot, instead of getting pizza. I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the chicken tinga pico tacos and a side of chips with salsa. The portion of meat was great, but the chicken was dry. Adding the green sauce helped a bit but there was only but so much of it compared to the amount of chicken. The chips were well prepared, very crunchy. The salsa was fresh which was nice, but flavorless. Definitely in need of some salt and garlic. I’ve never left a review before but Dahlia’s is so good, I had to. I’m vegetarian and sometimes it’s hard to find good veg options but dahlias has so much to offer! Their veggie burrito is the BEST burrito I’ve ever had, always so fresh, never misses. My friends who eat meat also love all of their food. I’ve never had anything bad from here.
