Dario The Baker Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

The owner is nice, and I'm sure the food is good, but I guess I'll never know for certain. I contacted them two weeks before the rehearsal dinner for my wedding and gave them the date, time, and location for my event. I called a week after my initial contact and they told me they would have to call me back. I instead got an email back, and continued to communicate with a staff member. After two weeks of emailing back and forth, they could never get back to me with a price. My rehearsal dinner is today, I called 6 times and to no avail, and when I finally got through to someone, I was told they couldn't fill the order because they would have had to confirm 2 days prior. So disappointed to have gotten the run around for 2 weeks and now have no food for my rehearsal dinner.

Going in person must be the best bet, because my experience was underwhelming and frustrating....

I went to get my windshield replaced on Victory Blvd. in the West Shore Commercial District. Since there was no place around to eat we went into this pizzeria hoping to just get an edible Grandma’s slice but little did we know that was going to be hands down the best slice of Grandma’s on Staten Island. We are big pizza eaters - we love pizza - the favor and crispness of the crust was fantastic - the tomato sauce, mozzarella and fresh basil all 5 stars. Who would have ever imagined! This pizzeria is amazing! Their grandma slice is one of the best I ever had! They always have a variety of different slices, rolls and even drinks to choose from! Coworkers and I love to go here to grab a quick bite to eat and we’re always greeted with a warm smile. They go above and beyond to help us! Great food and great service- couldn’t...
