Came here to dine out on the weekend. Place is small but not horrible. About the only thing ai can complain is the J train passing by but if you enjoy your food like I did, your mind will ignore the sound.
Ordered chaufa mixed rice and it was delicious with the excellent seasoning, it was salted perfectly and I could taste the ginger which most chaufas seem to lack.
Other people with me ordered a steak with green spaghetti that I had a taste of, the spaghetti was amazing! Everyone but one person enjoyed their food but that particular person ordered fries and steak which I never really recommend except when youre in a fast food place. Not that the fries were bad but if you go to a restaurant order their typical platters to enjoy.

I went in to celebrate with my husband. There were no customers, but they still looked too busy to acknowledge us. When they seated us and we were given the menu, a lady also told us the menu for the day. I ordered three different dishes, one after the other, and I was told they ran out of that dish. Even one that was on the list for today! I was blatantly told, "It would take two hours to make. It's like playing the lottery." Um, WHAT?! They charged us for the drinks with no apology and no customer service etiquette. I had only taken one sip, and they didn't even try to help us stay or offer anything else. Trout was good but it was overseasoned and too small in comparison to the amount of rice and french fries. Great rice, ok french fries and tasty Salsa Criolla.
