Eastern Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

I was craving Chinese food and wanted to try a different restaurant. So, I ordered from this place... and I wish I hadn't.

After waiting for over an hour and a half, I called to ask where my order was. They claimed that their driver couldn't find parking and so they just came back to the restaurant... and they never thought to call me to tell me about it.

A driver not being able to find parking and not calling to ask me to come downstairs is not something I should be at fault for. Yet, the restaurant refused to cancel/refund my order. So, I had to pay for food that I didn't even get to eat.

So, this rating is purely based on customer service as I never had the chance to actually try the food... but if the food is as bad as their customer service, then I don't want to...

Last night I stopped by and ordered a BBQ combo that comes with an egg roll to go. When I got home I noticed the egg roll was missing, even though I asked the counter lady if the BBQ Ribs combo included an egg roll, and she said loud and clear YES. The next day I stopped by and ordered a small white rice and also took the opportunity to tell the employee in turn about the missing egg roll. To my surprise, he looked at me as I was lying, and ignored me. Then I asked him again if I could please get the egg roll or be refunded, and he said NO. I walked out and I will never come back to this place again. The sanitation B letter on their window, and their horrible and cocky attitude should've warned me from not ordering...

I was cheated out of two Ginger Ales on a delivery. The male on the phone said I could just come in whenever to retrieve them. When I did so, he denied ever saying this was the agreement & accused me of wanting to swipe two sodas. I said to the guy look up my phone number and see how much I order from this place, do you really think I would waste my time.

I vowed never to return and I go to New King now. I like the food at EC but not that much to be told off and cheated at the same time. EC just lost a loyal customer. You cannot just cheat people and think it is okay! Well because your food is good! No one likes to be disrespected and accused of trying to scam two ginger ale sodas. ...
