Van Alst Playground — Attraction in New York

Most of this playground is well shaded, so it's a great option on hot sunny days. All the equipment looks new, with a set for kids under 4 and under, and a set for kids 5-13. The sets are unique from other playgrounds in the area. There's also a splash pad for the summer. There are two sets of swings (young kids and older kids) and a sensory friendly swing included. New-ish park on the quiet side of Astoria. Great for toddlers or older kids with separate play areas for the different age sets. Nice but small water sprinkler system, great on hot summer days. The only drawback for this park is the lack of bathrooms!!! Come on Parks Dept, that's a no-brainer! Otherwise its a good shaded...
