What a horrible and confusing menu. You have to choose between their preset combination of toppings, adding any additional is a dollar per topping, and their bowl prices don’t count the meat you add to them. So for example for 10.99 you can get the Mission Bay Burrito. But all that pays for is the shell, rice, beans, shredded cheese, guac, and lettuce. If you wanted Pico, corn, and a protein it’ll be $17+. Just makes no sense.
Not to mention the “Lunch Combo” doesn’t actually include chips and a drink it just reduces the cost of adding them on. Which is not clearly stated.
Very bizarre. It’s like they’ve never ordered a burrito anywhere before. Don’t give your customers useless prices that are meaningless. Customers know what they want at a burrito place, they don’t want to have to squeeze into your boxes and pay extra for pico de gallo. (the cheapest thing on the planet to make)
There’s just way too much going on. There don’t need to be 6 recipes of each. There should be a build your own option clearly stated for each...
Read moreOn July 14th at 12:15pm I received a text response from Steven regarding my application for the restaurant associate position on Indeed. As this was a Sunday, I was unable to respond to him until about 10:00pm that evening. I was spending quality time with my family and just did not get to see my phone until later on in the evening. When I responded via text, I immediately received a call from Steven. Since I was driving home, I asked if it was okay to speak at a later time. He said it was okay and rudely hung up. Literally a second later, he texted me saying “Honestly if you want the job you should speak now, I will not be calling you back”. Please keep in mind that it was TEN in the night and he did not respond to my text asking me if it was okay to give me a call at said time. I will be attaching the images so that you can all read for yourself. I believe Steven is the owner. He is VERY unprofessional and it sucks because I had heard amazing things about this establishment. Please be prepared for this if you are planning...
Read moreEDIT: One out of three times that you order from this place they will forget something. It’s usually chips or the salsa or both. I originally did not complain about it because they’ve always done the right thing and either brought me the item or refunded me for the chips and salsa. Once again, they forgot the chips, I gave them the option to deliver me the chips or refund me the chips and salsa (The salsa is useless without the chips). This time, they decided to be cheap and only refunded $1.50. I explained that I order from there twice a week, but the lady on the phone insinuated that I’m just trying to get free food. So not only have they raised their prices in the past few months but the service has also gone down hill. #sad
original post I come here for the quesadillas and the salsa. Both are easily the best in the neighborhood. I’m not sure why the other places can’t figure out how to simply make a good quesadilla. A bonus is that this place also has the...
