El Mariachi — Restaurant in New York

Wow!! I came here with my mom to pick up tacos and I wish I took pictures of my food! The place looks lowkey, it’s small on a corner but these are the best tacos i’ve tried in a while! I had chicken tacos. They come with onions and cilantro but I also added crema & cojita cheese and honestly, I can’t wait to go back! They were made fresh and the taco shell was a bit crunchy (which was delicious) and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The lady at the counter was also super sweet and attendant. Love the food here, it’s so good and tasty and authentic flavor. The place is super a small but you feel like it’s a very chill vibe where the owner make you feel very comfortable and welcome, just as Mexican people are…. Micheladas are the best in nyc. And perfect place for LGBTQ people. I’m a trans girl and the lady is so friendly, even interested in making a connection with me.

Terrible experience, tried ordering using their online menu and their prices were wrong, when I called back to cancel the order they tried to bully me into paying for it saying they had already made it for us ( mind you we called back 20 seconds after initially placing the order once we double check their online prices) once we called back they said if we didn’t pay they would blacklist me. I would never recommend this place...
