This is an amazing place with great hot steamed fish as well as fried.

You will find the steamed option is not only healthier but many options.

I only have ordered steamed dinners from Blue Dolphin.

You start with a steam basket, basically a plastic microwave cover is used. First, you select your raw seafood - filet, while fish, crab legs, shrimp, scallops.

Then you pick up bags of veggies. The first bag is included, each additional is $2.

Then you give your basket to one of workers to write up your order.

The seafood is washed, then bags opened of veggies and then added seasonings before it’s steamed. Steaming is 15 or longer depending on type of seafood and amount of veggies.

When it’s done and you have gone home to eat. You have a good balance of veggies and steamed fish.

It’s so good.

Finally, a healthy food option in the Black Community. You can get your seafood steamed or fried. I get it steamed. They also have vegetables. How it works; You walk in, put on the plastic gloves they offer, pick up one of the plastic basket/tray looking things and pick your Seafood and throw it in the plastic basket. Accross from the seafood are vegetables. Everything from carrots to peppers, onions, plantains, okra, broccoli, spinach, etc.. Once you have made your plate, you hand it to the worker who hands you a ticket then he washes everything then seasons it. Then they put it to steam in a large steamer for 15 to 20 mins.
