El Rinconcito del Sabor — Restaurant in New York

My whole experience here was terrible. I got a pamphlet under my door in my building for this place so I was like “let me order for the first time here” and so I did. I used the QR code on the food pamphlet and I waited over an hour for the food to be delivered. The food was never delivered. Therefore after an hour I decided to call and the lady told me that she is very busy and that I had to figure out where I ordered from. I called again and asked if she could look up my order number in the system because I know I am calling the right place that I ordered from. She put me on hold so I decided to drive to the location and turns out that the QR code on the pamphlet THEY PUT UNDER MY DOOR FOR THEIR RESTAURANT doesn’t work and it’s a “different system”. They then said to “be careful because they only use door dash and Uber eats”. I compared the pamphlet that they had in the place to the one I had and it was the exact same one. When I scanned it and showed the guy he then said “oh we don’t know”. So that means everyone who used the QR code on the food pamphlet doesn’t get their food then. He then said he would make my food but I would have to wait, so I waited another 45 minutes for a chimi and French fries. As the guy is making it, he comes out and says “oh this is coming out of our pockets now because your food wasn’t in the system”. Well if that’s the case, you shouldn’t put the QR code for your restaurants website on the food pamphlet then, how is this my fault. Never again will I order from here NEVER. And the food wasn’t even that good to have waited that long or wasted my gas to drive somewhere when my food should have been delivered....

The food was soooo good I told my whole office about it. Now we go here all the time and plan to order catering. I’ve had the seafood soup with clams & pumpkin I’ve had the ribs with black rice😋😋 I’ve had the rotisserie chicken I’ve had a smoothie here ALL OF IT WAS WELL SEASONED BUT NOT...

Food is good. Nice quick restaurant for food near by. However, the men in front of the restaurant harassing women passing by are disgusting. Don’t recommend going here unless you want to be harassed by the 3-4 men who sit in front of this establishment...
