Emilio's Original Gourmet Pizza — Restaurant in New York

My delivery order says leave the food in the lobby and the driver for some reason thinks I’m going outside to get the food and calls me and I don’t answer because I’m busy and instead of doing his job and dropping the food off in the lobby, he justifies leaving to drop off another order. Then when I call in they say he’ll be there in 5 minutes but clearly a blatant lie as I’m still waiting for my food that was supposed to be delivered nearly an hour ago.

Randomly texts me after I text him the food magically appeared in the Lobby. You couldn’t figure it out the first time or let me know you dropped it off? I have to message you and ask where the foods at?

Now I gotta reheat food I spent over $50.

Frankly speaking, it brought back so much fond childhood memory when I took the first bite into a slice of cheese pizza at this place. The pizza is hot, the cheese just finished bubbling a minute ago, and the crust was crunchy it felt like an odd combination of sensations that works. The atmosphere here is very friendly. The owner, I guess, was greeting everyone warmly; he was also accommodating to guest requests. This alone deserves my 5-star rating. I love NY pizzas, and especially NYC for having so many family-owned pizzerias such as Domenick’s. If you are in this area by any chance, do stop by this place for a slice (or two) of NY pizza. This is legitimately one of the best pizza places in the Bronx. After some delivery issues on Grubhub's side, the restaurant really went out of their way to make the experience GREAT. Man on the other side of the phone really made me feel like I was a valued customer. Food was some of the VERY BEST and I don't say that lightly since I've had hundreds of slices of pizza before.
