Avoid this deli! I purchased 4 items(1 gatorade, 1 reeses peanut butter cut with marshmallow top and 2 big reeses peanut butter cups) on a Saturday night at about 9 PM. The man at the counter rang up the big reeses cup an extra time which made my total more than it should be. I told him about it when I saw 3 of that particular item on the little screen at the counter, when really I only had 2 of that item. I was going into my pocket to take the money out and my head was down so he must have seen this and took advantage since I was not alert as he was ringing up the items and scanned the item an extra time. I told him about the extra charge and then the other man who works there who was right next to him said the price of that item should have been more so he increased the price of the item. So I originally owed $6.50 and then instead of it being less since he took the false charge away, I now owed $7 because he increased the price of the item. The man even said to me thanks for telling me this because now we get more money. I found that very arrogant. If you are still going to this deli after reading this be alert and make sure they don't ring any of your items up an extra time and then increase the price of the item after you confront them.    Read moreThis place used to be good but their new workers must me incompetent or something because every time I call ahead to order it takes 5 minutes for them to get one sandwich… Today I called for a PICKUP reason being that I want to order ahead and not wait for the hot sandwich I wanted but the person who took my order told me he’s going to make my sandwich when I arrive. I assured him I will be picking up the sandwich I work down the block, I order like once a week from this place and the sandwich takes 10 minutes to make. He again told me no that he won’t make it until I arrive because of instances where people don’t get pickup orders. Now while I get that I don’t understand what that has to do with my situation, and if this is going to be the policy from now on I suggest for you to not have pickup as an option this is very inconvenient.    Read moreOn March 9 at about 2 o'clock I went into your store to buy a lottery ticket. I had some change, but the cashier refused to accept it without giving a reason. Then he miscalculated and said that there was not enough money. When I asked to count again, he started yelling at me that I couldn’t count and waving his hands in front of my face. When I asked to call the manager of the establishment, he said in a threatening tone that the owner was his uncle and obviously with his permission he was behaving this way towards customers. Such boorish attitude is completely unacceptable. I regret not calling the police. And by the way, the seller doesn’t seem to know how to count either, since I went to buy a ticket to another place where there were very polite sellers, they counted the money and everything was correct.
