Homecrest Playground — Attraction in New York

I like the pre-renovation layout of the park much more. There is much less park to play or walk in now. There are no longer an older kid and younger kid slide, just a toddler slide. Park seems more suitable for toddler and younger kids now, not much to offer the older kids like before except the climbing globe like structure. They should've also added a bathroom during the renovation. I hope they are not renovating/"upgrading" all our other neighborhood parks in this park style - that would be awful...

Small park for kids to wonder around. It's all fenced up so you don't have to worry a out your child walking into the street. They do have a concrete field where you can play soccer basketball. Wish they had a bathroom. Overall it's a nice small park to visit for an hour or so. I have never seen law enforcement making sure everything is in order but that's because there's isn't much crime in the area. Parking can be very difficult, so take the Q or B train to sheepshead bay station and then walk about 3...

Pretty neat park , considering that it's in a very congested area and by the highway with a lot of traffic buses and people. The area is decent given for what it is. Sheep said Bay/Benson Hurst Brooklyn, New York. I grew up there. It used to be much dirtier, and there used to be a lot more drugs and crime around. But the park has been refurbished and some new installations have been put in. It looks neat and you can go there for a nice relaxing workout or play...
