I ordered un Júgo de Avena Médium Size…When I tried it, it was bitter and it needed more ice. I asked if I could get another cup with ice so I can pour the Juice in that cup and it Could be colder Since the cup was too full…,She hands me a paper cup with ice and tells me to drop the ice inside the cup. I tell her that the cup is going to Overflow and I need to go…She then tells me to drink from the juice that way it won’t overflow..At this point, I was already annoyed at the fact that she wasn’t willing to give me the Damm cup with ice😤😒 I then TELL HER that I CANNOT drink from the Juice Because It’s warm and it will make my stomach Upset because I have gastric bypass. Total disregard for my Medical comment and tells me I’ll be fine🥴🥴🤢🤦🏻♀️😑🫠 Long story short: I did what she told me half an hour after drinking the Juice, my stomach started hurting and it sent me to the Bathroom. I also forgot to mention that she didn’t give me my change because according to her she didn’t have it in the register, Which was $0.87, Before all this happened I told her don’t worry about it and put it in the tip jar…and not even after that she was cordial enough to give me a cup with extra ice to pour the juice in. Read moreI ordered from empanadas on the hill through uber eats and did not have a good experience. We ordered 3 empanadas, 1 order of shrimp mofunguitos, and a Cubano sandwhich. The empanadas were just ok. They were flavorful. In case you were wondering what a mofunguito is (I was wondering myself), it's a miniature version of mofongo in molded cup shapes. An order comes with 6 of them. It was very filling (as it should be for $15). However, they smothered them with a strange homemade sauce and I could not quite figure out why. There is always a dark reddish, brownish sauce that comes with mofongo anywhere else. It tasted like thousand island dressing or ketchup mixed with mayo. They even provided extra cups of this sauce in the bag. Totally unnecessary. The plantains were hard and dry, the shrimp tasted like it had been in the freezer, and it was topped excessively with cheap shredded cheese (perhaps to hide what was underneath). Really bad. Then I discovered after paying for the Cubano sandwhich, it wasn't even in the bag. I had to call the restaurant and the woman who answered the phone had me on hold for about 3 mins to "see if they can deliver it to me" because my house might have been too far. She then said they can do it and their delivery guy brought it to us. The size of that Cubano was a joke. Shorter in length than a 6 inch from subways. However, the flavors were there. Read moreWe ordered our food at 6:40pm. We called them around 8:30 to ask where our food was and they told us the food was made and just left with the delivery man. At 9:20, we called again to see where it was since it has been over 45 min since they said it was on it’s way. The woman said that the food was sitting on the counter, cold, because they didn’t have our address (which we did give them when placing the order). Clearly the woman lied before when she said it was on it’s way and could have asked for the address again then. They said they would remake our food immediately to send out since it was cold.
We called once again at 10pm to see what was going on and the worker didn’t even remember our order. She then said that they were about to put our order in to start cooking. What were they doing for the previous 3 hours?? This was next level irresponsible and we told her we didn’t want the food anymore. Honestly don’t think we’ll ever order from there again, which is a shame considering we’re regulars. The woman on the call didn’t even seem bothered by the fact that she made us wait 3 hours for nothing and just said ok bye when we told her we didn’t want it anymore.
