Don't let the plastic utensils fool you. The food was great. I can only comment on the Caldo de Res (beef soup) since that is all I ordered. It may ha e been the beat Caldo de Res I've ever tasted. (My mother-in-law's is a close second, but she doesn't read English, so I can be truthful.) It was spicy and flavorful with a rich broth. The corn, chayote and string beans were not too soft nor over cooked. I asked for jalapeños on the side, even though the soup is hot. On the negative side were the store bought tortillas and the long wait for the soup. At $14 it's not super cheap, but it definitely filled me up.

I visited this restaurant last night for a bite to eat with a friend and unfortunately did not have great service. The table had dirty cutlery on it when we arrived thankfully the waitress brought new ones. The drinks weren’t good and my water came with a fly in it. I ordered a margarita it was watered down with barley any tequila in it. The food we ordered came incorrect and over cooked so I had to send my order back. The chicken burrito I had was very dry and the tortilla it was it felt chewy. The breaded shrimp my friend ordered was over cooked and hard. The only food that I enjoyed was the appetizers: chips and different types of salsas and the guacamole. Definitely wasn’t worth the $70 paid for everything.

Pretty great place. However it was a shame one of the servers did not want to take our order I guess ....idk we ended up resulting in waiting maybe 15minutes for someone even after they said theu will be right with us. Then a table walks in and well.. they took the table first. A huge fuss it was (not with us) but no one wanted to take us lol for some reason it was weird but me and fiance get that alot i guess we look too young? (Idk) HOWEVER dunnn dunn dunn the food was great

Absolutely loved it ! Me and my family went to eat out for an evening, we were originally going to another restaurant but due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were not able to sit. As unfortunate as that was, it led us to this awesome little spot. I've been here once before but it exceed my expectations, great food, giant Servings and great customer service, what else could you want ? Haha definitely give it a shot if your near by!
