A cute green space in Little Italy. Great for grabbing a bite to eat and enjoying some time outdoors. It's not lots and quite relaxing compared to some city parks. There's lots of equipment for children to use and ample seating to enjoy some time at this park. There is a sprinkler to splash and cool off in as well as toilets. Lots of trees and greenery. Along the outside there are bags to collect any mess your dog makes.

This used to be a clean park. Even when the parks cleaning department is here they don't do a good job of cleaning. The women's and Men's restrooms always dirty. On Saturday 7/27/24 they were 3 cleaning personnel in the park and didn't even bother going into the bathrooms and left without doing so.

I was a life guard back in 1982 when there was an above ground 3ft swimming pool, right beside the Park House/bathrooms. Of course the swimming pool is long gone. There were also basketball courts, a handball court, bocce ball court, kid swings (and adolescent swings too!) monkey bars, etc.

This park used to be so much better in the 90s when there was the handball court, monkey bars, the little hide out underneath the slide, board game competitions during the summertime and soccer games. Ever since they so called "renovated " it only became less kid friendly and more sterile feeling. The space that used to be for handball, soccer and monkey bars is now just a huge area of benches and seating for old people to hang out all day. Also the section with the structures for people to work out attract grown men without kids that are sometimes not acting in a kid friendly manner. Loud music, cursing, drinking. Most of the park is useless to kids. It's just not...

I have been there a few times with my 9 year old son to try to get some fresh air during this unfortunate times, and there is always a bunch of unpleasant, loud adults saying horrible things to their children and drinking alcohol. This is a playground designed for our kids to play and have fun in a healthy way, not for them to go see those kind...
