Ajo y Orégano

We knew the night was going downhill the minute the server came to our table to take our order. She seemed upset merely at the fact that she had to be there, doing her job. She approached us with attitude when she asked us for our drink order and literally walked away before I could finish saying that I needed another minute to look the menu over. We finally did get our orders in after another uncomfortable interaction with our server and eventually received our appetizers. To put it plainly, the food was just BAD. The appetizer was a plate of mini plantain cups with meat and extras inside. Food that you'd reasonably expect to be hot. Well in this instance you'd be partially wrong. My gf bit into the cup to find that some pieces of meat were lukewarm and others just flat out cold. We decided against eating it after we both took one bite of one cup. We tried for several minutes to flag our server down to ask if we could swap it out, without any luck, and eventually passed the request along to anyone who would listen. Eventually news got to our server, which we expected, who approached us again to ask what the issue was, and when we explained, she rolled her eyes and walked away without saying a word, which at this point was also expected. The main course was ok, not awful but not great. The food was again just barely warm enough to consume. We never saw or heard from our server again. We finished eating what was edible and spent another 10 min trying to flag someone down for our check. The night was only made better by the one server who came by to drop off the check, asked us how our food was and attempted to address our concerns all in the 2 min interaction we had with him. Too little too late unfortunately. If you have any good taste in food or expect anything more than mediocre service, do not come here.
