One of the best experiences I've had at a brewery.
I've been here a couple of times and the service, outdoor seating, and selection of beers/seltzers can't be beat. The long haired/pony tailed guy who always greets us & fills our waters is beyond superb. In addition to the bald gentlemen with glasses who sometimes takes our orders. Not to mention Joe (I think) and the wonderful tattooed blonde lady (with an accent)! Some of the best, most detail orientated service I have had in general and in NYC specifically.
My one (and only complaint) was our server tonight. He had clear, round glasses, a tattoo on his upper left leg/thigh and wore a hat. When we had finished our first round of drinks we had to wait for ages/ flag him down for more drinks. He was rarely "on the floor" and when he was present, he would ignore our table despite our empty drinks. Each time we had to wait and then jump up as soon as he showed up to get more beer. He also openly admitted to be drinking on shift..... Normally I would expect this for anyone in hospitality but the fact that our table/ other tables were ignored & not waited on, made his confession annoying and ridiculous.
I do not normally write reviews or complain about these type of things but given the otherwise outstanding service and experience we have received at Evil Twin, our server's actions tonight stood out. We have come to love this place, the beer and the exceptional staff - even more so during Covid but next time we come by and see this server waiting tables, we'll be sure to head...
Read moreWelcome to my personal haven, the brewery that reigns as my favorite. Prepare to be delighted by an abundance of exceptional beer choices, as they continuously refresh their selection with innovative creations. But it's their IPAs that truly steal the show—a testament to their fearlessness in pushing boundaries. And let's not forget the delightful frozen drinks they serve.
The brewery's captivating aesthetics, featuring a greenhouse-style layout and inviting outdoor seating, provide an enchanting atmosphere that is particularly magical when rain graces the occasion. It's a sanctuary where beer enthusiasts and nature intertwine harmoniously.
The attention to detail extends even to their well-stocked and meticulously clean bathrooms—an often overlooked aspect that truly enhances the overall experience. However, the true gem lies in the exceptional management. The manager, a charismatic individual who effortlessly traverses the premises on four legs, ensures that every visitor is guaranteed a memorable time.
In conclusion, this brewery stands as a testament to the art of craft beer. Immerse yourself in the flavorful offerings, revel in the stunning ambiance, and allow the attentive manager to elevate your experience. It's an oasis where aesthetics and taste collide, leaving you yearning for more...

Eviltwin is the best brewery in the USA with a dedicated cult following. Absolutely deliciously bold and powerful sours and stouts, entirely unique from one another, all with laughably funny names, served in a super cool (and conspicuously hidden) Greenhouse right on the Brooklyn/Queens border.
Almost no beer is here is boring or mild, every one being packed with as much flavor as the batch can hold. Also, Eviltwin has beers on tap every so often that might seem odd to drink, like the sweet potato sour I had in December '19. But please give the odd ones a chance, for the previously mentioned sour was one of the best ones I've ever had. (Actually reminded me of the gum from "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" that tasted like an entire meal, this sour tasting like a hearty sweet potato with brown sugar on Thanksgiving Day)
They switch their taps fairly often, which ultimately is a good thing since the menu will never look the same every time you go in, but don't get too attached to any one beer since it might not be there next time.
Obviously, recommended. Anytime I'm passing through, at the very leas, I stop in to pick up beer for home. Usually parking is available on George Street, and its 15 feet from...
