Family Coffee Truck — Restaurant in New York

This is one of the best breakfast trucks (food trucks, really) in the city and I'm not just saying that to be hyperbolic. (I'm also quite pleased that it's located in Harlem.) I used to come here regularly for breakfast and/or a quick snack. My favorites include the iced coffee (which they know how to customize just right), the chorizo breakfast sandwich and those beautiful homemade tamales, which are just the right size and double as a filling lunch. The family has been in the neighborhood for years; they know their customers well and everyone knows and loves them, and as such will always speak highly of them here. I would stop by throughout the day for conversations and to check in just as much as for the food. Their kindness and care for what they do is evident throughout, and it's that warmth that keeps people coming back. The selection of baked goods, both doughnuts and traditional Mexican pastries, are delicious as well. Even on a busy day, one never feels like the truck is overcrowded and everyone always leaves satisfied. ...

It’s a food truck…in fact it’s the 1st food truck that I’ve ever got more than a bagel, donut or coffee from. The food was VERY good and the guys making the food are very nice and friendly! I’m mad I didn’t catch his name but, the one that specifically made my food took his time to make it and was very accommodating with my request lol.

It’s conveniently located right in front of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture - New York Public Library and directly across from Harlem Hospital on 135th and Lenox.

Wonderful service. Courteous and professional above all and friendly to boot. Its run by a wonderful Family ( including Roy and Antonio) that actually make you feel welcome. The Food is delicious and with the added lunch menu of tacos is an extra delicious treat. During this Pandemic it's comforting to know we can depend on them for a quick & tasty breakfast . Supporting them during these trying times is extremely important as well. Im grateful and appreciative for them to continue working hard and providing this service to us. It doesn't go unnoticed.
