Last week i was here and ordered a caesar salad and a steak frites. My salad arrived. I enjoyed it. Then the sreak frites arrived and i enjoyed that as well. This week i ordered the beet salad and the steak frites. They came at tge same time. I asked the waitress to please take the steak back and keep it warm in the kitchen whie i ate my salad. She took it and then the manager returned it and said thet serve them at the same time because the slads are considered entrees. And they cannot keep it warm for me. I mentioned that i was yhere a week earlier and they were not served at the same time. She blamed it on me for not saying i wanted the salad separately. Then she continued to over explain herself so i asked her to please leave me alone. I just wanted a nice relaxibg meal where i didnt feel like i had to rush through my salad just so my meal...

My wife and I decided to stop in for a quiet bite to eat at Fat Rabbit Diner last week. Unfortunately, our experience was bad due to the extremely rude bartender who greeted us with an unsettling silence. She glared at us without a word until I finally broke the ice and said hello. Once we were seated, a gentleman appeared to take our order and serve our food. He seemed somewhat pleasant, but there was an underlying tension in his demeanor, as if he felt pressured to attend to us quickly rather than genuinely engage.

The food was decent but not particularly memorable. I’ve certainly had better breakfasts at other diners with more flavorful options and heartier portions. Nonetheless, if you need a quick breakfast fix, this place might suffice. However, don’t expect to be charmed by the service or impressed by the...

Don’t get me wrong, the food was good and the service was great. However, it was $25 for a martini (Tito’s vodka, not Kettle or Grey Goose - so a well martini), $14 for Compari and soda and on top of everything they charge a service fee (which we think may be the credit card fee). For 2 burgers and fries (fries are extra) 3 tiny little deviled eggs, and a couple drinks, it came to $103, plus tip the grand total was $132. Bottom line, $132 for 2 burgers, an appetizer and 2 drinks is ridiculous. It’s an f’ing diner for Christ sake. Needless to say, not a lot of bang for your buck and not very satisfying. Not to mention, the menu is very small. It is more bar menu, than a dinner menu. We will give them another chance once they’ve been open a while, but that’s if they survive. So...

A week ago my sister, a friend and I visited Fat Rabbit Diner for the first time. We are always on hunt for new diners that may offer more than mediocre food and Fat Rabbit I have to say hit the spot. It's not really a diner in the traditional sense since the menu was extremely limited. Not many options at all but probably something for everyone. And somewhat pricey. These are my only reasons for the 4 star rating. Everything else from the food to the service to the general ambience of the place, EXCELLENT! The food was just phenomenal. We couldn't believe it. Two of us had burgers, which were served on sliced Texas-ish toast and one person had the chicken sandwich. Overall the meal was just absolutely delicious and it's the thing that will have us going back for more.

This place has a lot of good things going for it. It's fun interior. It's friendly and efficient staff. It's cut above a traditional diner menu. But the fries were terrible. Like cardboard and lukewarm. Fries are like a baseline for a diner. Even if the rest of the food sucks you can count on finding decent fries at a diner. We LOVED the fried chicken bites and the wedge salad. The shrimp ceviche was pretty good. The tuna large plate was thoroughly disappointing which was a shame because the fish was perfectly cooked. The arugula salad on the dish was drowned in some sort of gluggy, indistinct dressing. There was a drizzle of some sort of sauce on the tuna that could have been the same tasteless dressing. Sit at the bar and have cocktail with the free chicken bites.

Fat Rabbit was absolutely delicious. From the moment we came in, it was packed and we still got the best service ever. Everything from the fluffy scrambled eggs, to the chicken sandwich, the ricotta toast, and the richness of the deviled eggs. Hands down one of the best meals I have had in New York City/Brooklyn ever. The bartender James was so incredibly kind and down to earth and Jill, the owner was just amazing. The ingredients were so fresh and everything I could’ve asked for. I will absolutely be back because there are so many more dishes I want to try. Just do it, you will not regret it. Thank you for such a lovely Sunday funday.
