I've been on the lookout for COVID-safe bars, and The Great Georgiana certainly fit the bill. The tented outdoor seating area has heated lamps so you can huddle in your winter jacket and sip on vodka, Russian-style.
Somewhat unseasonably, I ignored the bartender's suggestion of the hot toddy and went with the Slim Fittins (Tito's vodka, basil, lemonade). Yeah, I was basically drinking lemonade in 40 F weather. Mind you, the food is pub food except for the cheese plate that should satisfy most any appetite for its ample portion and quality cheeses. The service is relaxed; the mood, cozy. So don't be uptight about waiting when it's busy--so just the right snug for a...
