Big, floppy triangular slabs of pizza. Solid cheese and sauce combination with a decent crust albeit slightly doughy, but not a major prob. Excellent veal parm hero with tangy, flavorful tomato sauce.
Frank's recently expanded with a more formal dining area instead of just a take-out counter with a few seats and tables. This is so they can compete with the other trendy eateries popping up in Throgs Neck (Tosca, Patricia's, etc.)
Their display at the front counter needs freshening up. While they have signs that the food is for display only, it's not appetizing to look at beef patties that look like they've been oven-raped. Worse, the pizza pies in the display counter are so old and stale they look ossified.

I ordered a large pie today and was told it would arrive with in 30 to 40mins it came in 1hr and 20mins instead. The pizza and garlic knots where cold to the touch and when I took a bit the cheese was so grainy it was pretty gross so I pretty much wasted my money. Read more8/23/24 Update. Went there today after an all day of swimming and ate in with my daughter and her 2 school friends. We had a pie half pepperoni/cheese. It was amazing and freshly made. For dessert we had incredible Zeppoles with Nutela "Wow, so yummy"! The staff was incredibly welcoming. 5/5/22, This is My daughter's favorite pizza place.
