Grandma's Pizza — Restaurant in New York

This is one of the absolute worst restaurants that I have ever had, for a variety of reasons. They always run out of many things. The food is horrendous - in other words, it is poorly cooked, the proportions of ingredient are wrong, and the food is usually undercooked or occasionally overcooked. Literally everything my husband and I have ever ordered here has come out wrong - last time, for example, we ordered a bagel with cream cheese, but received bread with butter. Additionally, most products are often overpriced. Furthermore, the service is poor and restaurant is not clean. Lastly, they advertise as being chalav yisrael and kemach yashan, but that is not true - only some of their products are chalav yisrael and...

ACCEPTS CREDIT / DEBIT. After spending a whole day apple picking and having some family fun, this was the best place to inhale some food.. it's 7 minutes away from the apple farm, homey, warm... the staff was very friendly and patient with our large group. Coming from NYC, we ordered tons of food, expecting the dishes to be small portioned for the very affordable prices... but oh man were we wrong! Portions were HUGE! The buffalo wings were perfect, BRICK OVEN PIZZA was the best, we had 4 large: spinach, margherita, pepperoni and regular cheese. We had the garlic bread and 3 samplers, the fries were soooo perfect...

This pizza is decent. The sauce is a bit acidic, the bread taste is amazing due to the brick oven cook. The cheese is a bit thin and could be better. Overall good pizza but it could be better. I’ve lived in Inwood my entire childhood and most of my adult life, this place has lost some quality over the years. When they first opened, it was me and my friends go-to pizza spot. The new taste does not strike any childhood memories. Perhaps it’s the expectation of this tainting the experience, I just think the acidity can be cut down a bit with some sugar, and the cheese should be a little more freely spread with the price tag these pizzas have at this site.
