Ha-Weeda — Restaurant in New York

Two stars for the cake policy. I came to this place to celebrate a birthday and we brought a cake. The waitress/bartender saw the cake and said that I need to show her the receipt of the cake or I wont be able to have the cake in Ha-Weeda. We understand that there is a serving fee and we are ok paying for it, she said that still the receipt is necessary. Long story short our intention was to have a nice evening so we needed to email them the credit card transaction, showing the cake purchase. SERIOUSLY!!! Later the I find out, with the manager, that they request the receipt in case someone gets food poisoning, REALLY!

I do appreciate the fact that the manager took the time to explained their reasons but if some one get food poisoning, how can you know that it was the cake they brought from outside?🤔, the only way you can be certain of that is if your guests did not drink or eat your food.

I went out to neet an old friend at this place. I was dying to have a reason to check it out being that it's relatively new. I'm glad to say it feels nice and clean! Sanitizer is available and visible, restrooms are nice and clean which was oh so greatly appreciated. The bartender was very polite and checked in on us just enough to be helpful but not annoying, which I liked. They have a nice air hockey table which I loved! It was pretty w. orange LEDs that made my nails look like they were glowing, so cool ig photo sess. Also I noticed they have that Basketball hoop shooter game for the guys, as well as several pool tables for all who like to shoot pool. Good lighting, not dingy looking and a cute little outside seating is available. I would definitely go back again and I'm not at all a bar fan, so yeah. I love this place! They have "Play Pool For Free" for ladies from 5pm - 10pm and 7 days a week! Who can beat that!!!...

They have 3 snooker tables with different sizes, "small, medium, large". They have an Island bar, a nice music, a mini-stage I called the dance floor, complete with colorful disco ball.

This place is one of the places we play pool leagues to, on Sundays . I love the ambiance of this place. ❤️ They keep their ladies room clean, I can't say the same with their men's room--i never gone there🤷 for I identify as a woman, lady, her, she, girl. But, I presumed, that too, is clean 👍
