Spent three nights here with my parents on a medical visit in nearby china town. Checking in on the first day I was greeted and made very welcome by the lady in reception and was told I could park in one of the two extremely tight/small parking spots located out back. I would not recommend these to anyone inexperienced/new to driving but be warned you will have to really squeeze your way out once parked because your door will only open about 50% and you will have to back yourself out all the way out on to the street. Room was very small/cramped and somewhat dirty like the floors and the dead insects caked onto the walls (2) but overall I would give it a pass thanks to my horrendous experience over at The Phoenix hotel just across the street which I won't get farther into. My biggest issue lies with the TV having nothing but a few cable channels to watch on a Roku TV that was never connected to the internet to begin with for updates and apps like Youtube/Netflix to work. Internet is the worst I have ever experienced anywhere with disconnects happening all the time and even if you were connected, good luck doing anything on it cause neither me or my parents were able to get even a page to load so there was literally nothing to do whenever we returned to our room. I let it slide the first night but on our 2nd night I went down and tried asking the receptionist for help and was told that it was just us which I found hilarious. This new receptionist then proceeded to ask me to park my car farther into my spot so they can squeeze maybe another vehicle behind me which I am pretty sure they could have if they wanted to and this was just his way of giving me attitude (Yea you know who you are). I went back to my room and sucked it up cause it was through Expedia and non-refundable. The best stay but the worst and they have The Phoenix hotel to thank for. The Phoenix loses in everything except for internet/wifi. My own fault for being cheap too but then again I have been in cheap hotels and walked away with a great experience. If you just need a room to pass out for the night then this should suffice, just don't ask a certain receptionist too many questions/help. Oh and I love all the fake 5 * reviews I see for...
Read moreI was in search for a last minute hotel due to the deaf of a love one. Found this place at a reasonable price. I would have been better SLEEPING IN MY VEHICLE
This was the worst hotel or whatever they would classify itself as. The place only had 3 PARKING SPACES.
They didn't have ironing boards and had to iron on the bed. Shower was small and they didn't provide any washcloths.
TV worked on every station, but I couldn't hear the basketball games on TNT, because the sound for that station didn't work. I called down to the front desk and asked for someone to see about fixing the issue since I wanted to watch the basketball games. He came and tried everything and changed the channels and told me that "It was the only channel that wasn't working". In other words, watch something else!
I asked about getting a new room or a reduction in my room. He said he would talk with management.
The morning as I was checking out, I noticed something on the nightstand. The furniture was brown so I did pay a lot of attention to it. As I was moving stuff around I saw something else moving. THE PLACE HAD ROACHES RUNNING ON THE NIGHTSTAND.
I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth, I dropped something on the floor. So I close the door to pick it up. On the back of the door, there were several names painted and scratched into the door like a dirty old style bathroom.
I go to the office, which is in the basement to ask about getting my bill reduced and get a copy. I was informed that since I booked through Expedia, I would not get a copy of my bill. Nor would I get a reduced bill due to all the mishaps of such a...
Read moreWorst stay ever . Stood 3 days and was bothered for having guests . Had a double room which should allow 4 people . Was threatened to get kicked out if I invited anymore guests to my room after already paying money for the day . Not once have I been told no guests allowed upon check in nor are there any signs saying such . After saying there for 4 days refused to match the booking price which is something they are supposed to do and have done in the past . Treated like a peasant and was still willing to pay for another night but they tried over charging me and refused to match booking price telling me to book on there when on booking it said sold out when it wasn’t . Terrible terrible business don’t know how to run a business or be polite to recurring customers who pay a lot to stay there several days a month . Have the nerve to overcharge when the Tv had no signal all day and night kept going in and out same with the Wi-Fi . Several roaches were in the room spotted them through the stay walking on the walls . Great location but poor service and rude staff . Wouldn’t recommend if you plan to invite a friend who hasn’t checked in with you they won’t let them stay and will probably complain and tell you no guests . I don’t know what happened this place used to be one of the best nonchalant places but they aren’t anymore . Felt unwelcomed ...
