As one of the first clients to provide a review for GOAT STUDIOS NYC, I would love to say how appreciative and proud I am to have had the pleasure of working with JR & Steven!! I was originally supposed to record my first song months ago; before quarantine. However, due to the pandemic, it was delayed. As they say..."Everything happens for a reason"! I was forced to wait although I was eager to record. Thank God I did, because having the opportunity to work with an amazing "Grammy Nominated Producer" revealed itself. Steven is not only a talented producer and engineer, but represented all of the qualities of a professional coach. For my entire first session, he took the time to ensure that not only did I sound amazing, but that I understood the technical and qualitative aspects of recording by showing me what it takes to make a great song. He immediately made me feel comfortable as a new recording in a "real studio" for the first time. He also helped me to adjust to the autotune and provided constructive criticism to guide me along. I highly recommend that you work with Steven. You will have the opportunity to see how much his mastery and work ethic speaks for itself and you will not regret it! I am satisfied and WILL DEFINITELY come back...Pronto!! As an up & coming artist, "Siex Dragon" I applaud both JR and Steven for proving my potential and capability to the music industry through the recording of my first song "Sober Life"; which will be streaming everywhere soon!! The vibe in this place is absolutely immaculate. I stepped into the studio and felt a sense of comfort and belonging. This was my first studio session and both the studio and the engineer made it one of the best experiences in my life. Junior makes his space very welcoming and has the skill and precision to help any artist “get exactly what they came for”. He has a very kind and motivating personality. With his music experience, he gets the artist to reach a point of getting comfortable and confident in their craft. Definitely will be working here and with Junior again very soon. Actually booked a session for this Wednesday so stay tuned fans, lol....
