Halal Munchies has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a delicious and satisfying meal. The variety of sandwiches they offer is impressive, but the kofta kebab is an absolute standout. The flavors are rich and authentic, and the portions are incredibly generous, making sure you leave fully satisfied. Not only is the food outstanding, but the cleanliness and neatness of the place really stand out. It’s always a pleasure to gy my food from such a well-maintained environment. The service is quick and efficient, so you never have to wait long for your meal, even during busy hours. To top it all off, their dessert selection is a sweet lover’s dream! With a wide variety of cakes, there’s always something to satisfy your sweet tooth. If you’re looking for a spot that combines quality, quantity, and a clean dining experience, Halal Munchies is definitely worth a visit.

"Over rice" joints are a dime a dozen in Queens. Halal munchies manages to stand out above most of them due to their unique preparation, a cilantro based sauce and friendly service. I found them to be tastier than the regular offerings we normal go to. As expected, there were leftovers and the food tasted much better the next day after it had marinated overnight. I'm not the biggest fan of fries on top of the food for takeout. By the time you eat, they are pretty soggy and sad looking. But I'm sure it's different on the spot. Overall, a welcome addition in this area!

I ordered a sandwich... from Kew Gardens shop.. and when I came home it was all messed up... thy put to much sauce and the was also not fresh! I mean seriously... I paid full amount for this sandwich.. i really had to work very heard to get the money. And that is what get after paying... that's not nice . I use to go the Stianway shop before.. the cew is unapologetically Rude . Specially the Cashier Girl.... and now Kew Gardens also doing this ... very bad became a Brand and the customer service is so poor... I think Halal Munchies just loss a regular customer.

Nov 8 at 12:30 am I went to this branch. I always go to this branch. It had amazing service, and the food is always fresh and hot, but not this time. The guy at the cashier was very rude with me. The first thing he said was you cannot sit or stand here. We have to clean, and you should be thankful that I'm giving you the food we close at 12:40. I said okay, I'll sit in my car. I ordered the food sandwich and chicken over rice, but both chicken over rice was cold like it was made hours ago, and the sandwich was raw, which I specially told him to make well done. I asked for sauces on the side, and he started yelling and insulting me by saying everything is so expensive now a days. The guy was from Pakistan, long hair with a beard almost in his 50s. Never going to this branch ever again. Food was worse; literally, I couldn't eat it. The branch closing time is 1:00 am; if it closes early, please change the time online as well, or at least put a note out. I always recommend halal munchies to my friends and family whenever they ask me for good halal food, especially this branch, but not anymore because of bad behavior and bad staff and...

So, it was busy when I went there. Fine, it happens. Huge line, but I ordered a chicken gyro, so it should have been quick. When people who ordered after me started getting their food before me, I was getting a little miffed, but its busy, they'll get to it eventually, right?

Wrong. Not only did they give my order to the wrong person (who just so happened to provide them with a hundred dollar bill), they didn't even realize they gave it to the wrong person. It took them 30+ minutes to realize I hadn't been given my order, and when I finally did get it, they wrapped it so poorly that white sauce was leaking out the aluminium into the bag.

Just go to Shah's Halal Food instead on the bridge across from the Chase Bank. Guaranteed to get your order in a timely fashion, and they actually wrap their gyros tightly.

EDIT: Pita wasn't even warm. Bread broke apart like it would if you kept it in the fridge. Odds are they realized how long I'd been waiting, and instead of taking the time to get my order right, they quickly threw it together and sent...
