Halo Kitchen & Lounge — Restaurant in New York

Having a company of at least 10 people I had the responsibility to relieve everyone of their stress throughout the entire day by treating them with a simple delicacy. Having many choices I chose this particular establishment but was entirely disappointed. The very moment I was given my order, it was at first given through a regular black plastic bag that usually can be seen through your local dollar store. That was the first sign, second one being there was no ice. When I state that there was no ice, there was absolutely no ice whatsoever. How idiotic can someone be to add no ice in a traditional drink that millions know in our city. In addition, the taste was as if you melted ice in a cup and added a pinch of sugar. This “store” needs to upgrade their game, supposedly with their presentation as well as their customer service. I believe that no one should truly go through the same horror that I have...

The place is dirty and not clean. Moreover, the owner had one condition in order to serve hookah which is to order food!

I asked him if he serves al-fakher flavors and he said yes - when he brought the hookah it was not al-fakher flavor and it was so bad. The hookah itself is not clean.

Lastly when I asked for the check he gave me a price different from the menu price and he asked for my ID and wrote down the iD number.

As a world traveler - I advise you to stay away from this place as it’s a trap to get your money and to give you zero service and bad attitude!

Unfortunately, NYC is allowing those kind of businesses to do this...

The best thing was my piña colada.

Went on a Monday night. No cover charge, but you have to buy something from the food menu, which is overpriced for sure. The garlic Parmesan wings & seasoned fries were not good at all, but the chicken dumplings and mozzarella sticks were okay. There was no DJ. Somebody was playing music videos from YouTube. 👎🏾 They didn’t even have a playlist made in advance. There were times when the music just stopped because nobody was there to pick the next song, smh.
