Xscape NYC — Restaurant in New York

This has to be the worst place in life do not I repeat do not let their social media TikTok’s fool u!!! This place is disgusting they had one waitress that was running around tryna serve everybody wit an tablet at that n the app for the food look like it was a fake screen with food option n she’s giving u the tablet so u can press it!! They make u pay for every little thing!! Me n my bestfren went yesterday after a video shoot to catch a bite before we went home.. we preferred a exscape sampler which came with fries, mozerrlla sticks n wings! Now the biggest problem when they brought it to us it was cold mozzarella sticks cheese wasn’t pulling,let’s not talk about the sauce!!! It came in the regular little plastic cups with the lid so I notice one dip and the sauce was gone!!! So I asked for more because the cup wasn’t even gilled to the top n it wasn’t the deep cups it was the miniature already the host looked at me n said well did u purchase more we bc we use packets!! So I said purchase I have to purchase it wasn’t even filled up she goes yea bc we use packets,NEXT was the soda the cans were the mini cans for 3 dollars so 2 gulps it’s finish,, buy a shot for a free hookah which was suppose to be tequila n it was cheap vodka I left it on the table, n last but not least we waited over 1hr for our food n 30 mins to get serviced!!! Once the bill came gratuity is included okay fine but then its a different charge on our bill so we ask what was it for she tells us it goes to the owner for his fee I’m like oh no I’m disgusted I eill never n I mean never go back to this place not to mention no one came to check in with us!!!! PLP PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS PLACE FOOL U THE MUSIC IS BOMB N THATs about it the place is way to dark u cannot see anything!! Worse place ever they prolly charge for the plastic utensils to !! The service is terrible they jus want ya money they don’t care how ya food come out it a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!n I’ll be sure to tell others don’t come...

Where do I start. This is my first time coming to xscape & not having a good experience. It was my friends birthday. This was the only place open late so we went because we were familiar with it. We got 2 hookahs ($80) , refill ($29) , a tower, over $100 worth of shots, & food. There was no one but our 5 people party.. the music eventually stopped due to a technical difficulty. We played music on our phones for the meantime. When I wanted a refill, my card wouldn’t go through due to their system being down because of the WiFi. We had to wait until the WiFi came back on in order to get the refill, when really if you tried my card three times, the refill should have just been brought out and free. However, we had to wait over 20 mins for the WiFi to come back on, for their card machine to work in order to pay for the refill because they didnt care to accommodate.Next I asked if they could bring out a birthday sign for my friend once we got there. I had to ask again towards when we were about to leave because it was never brought out. The host told me that they usually do the sign with a complimentary shot. (I been asked her for the sign) I guess when we orders shots a second round she gave a complimentary shot to the birthday girl already so she informed me that the shot would cost. With everything that we endured, at most, the shot should have been free. I was not paying for anything else. We were the ONLY people in there & they had technical difficulties. Any where else I ever been, if there was no one there, accommodation/ discounts were given. I’m very dissatisfied with the service for my friends birthday and I hope you guys get it together. We spend a lot of money and received not accommodations for anything. Workers lacked empathy....

My daughter went to Xscape Lounge the day after her birthday to celebrate a friend’s birthday and left with the worst experience. The waitress serving her was horrible; she had a nasty attitude when questions were asked about the place. My daughter got up to leave and her purse was lost. I went back to speak to the waitress that served her that night and she claimed that three of my daughter’s cards were found in a certain position where my daughter was not sitting. However, my daughter’s purse, money, and another card were still missing. The waitress attempted to say that my daughter may have been drunk, however the cameras can confirm that she did not have a thing to eat or drink in the lounge. When we were called back to view the camera with the technician, Jack, we were unable to get footage of my daughter leaving the lounge. Jack stated that the cops came the day before to view the cameras that caught a crime that occurred, and tampered with the footage. They were unable to show me or my daughter footage of her exiting the building with her purse on her wrist. I pointed out to the waitress that I did not see my daughter’s three cards on the floor in the footage, as she claimed they were, and her story about where she found them changed. I asked for the owner to give me a call and was told by Jack, the technician, that the owner was too busy to call me. I’ve since sent messages to the Whatsapp contact line, with no response from the owner.

I personally believe one should be extra vigilant in securing their personal belongings in this lounge. Do not rely on their camera footage if ever you may need to review it for an incident; because as stated, I was unable to view footage of my daughter...
